Serve and Play!

A new monthly opportunity for teenagers to
serve their community and enjoy a day of fun.

Cinnamon Roll Making
his month’s serve and play is combined into the delightful making of cinnamon rolls on
March 31st.  Every year the youth ministry makes and sells Cinnamon Rolls on Palm Sunday.  The best part about this is making them! We get pounds of dough; flatten them out,
sprinkle on the sugar and cinnamon, roll them up, and make the most delicious pastries
you have ever had.   I really encourage you to join us on March 31st at 10:00am in the
church kitchen to make these treats and earn money for your account!

Chili Cook-off a HUGH SUCCESS!
The Chili cook-off was our biggest in a long time!  22 pots of chili or soup were made and earned us $585 for our account!  Our Family Feud game was super fun and the winning team was Rev. Nadine, Chris Rudolph, Sydney Tatum, David and Scott Zlomke, congratulations all of you!

Our day at Salvation Army and the Mall was great!
Thank you to the thirty kids that came to help us separate clothes at the Salvation Army and learn more about what they do there. We also had an awesome time playing Where's Waldo at the Mall. Congrats to all the winners!

Advent Festival was so much fun!
December 3rd was our church advent festival and the youth had the fun task of helping the little kids put on their costumes and get ready for the play. We had more than 30 of you show up to help in so many ways and we are so blessed to have you on our team!

Thanksgiving Dinner was a major victory!
Thank you to the 20 teens that came to the Thanksgiving Dinner to help serve drinks, clear tables and clean up. We accomplished a huge victory for Christ by serving our church and making the dinner one to truly be thankful for. Our game of Scene It! went very well also and I am amazed at all of your Disney knowledge. Thanks so much for all of your help.

Our Halloween Carnival was awesome!
So many of you came to help us with the Halloween carnival and we are very grateful. It went off wonderfully and provided a fun time for the smaller children of our church. The movie we saw was Invincible which is a MUST SEE if you ask me. =)

Our First Serve and Play was a huge success!
Over 30 committed teenagers showed up to pick up trash, set up for the pumpkin patch and clean up after the rummage sale. We really impressed the pants off of so many people in our church and around Cheyenne. Thank you for making a difference.
