The mission of the Hospitality Committee is to reach out to visitors in worship and potential members and to provide   opportunities for them to experience the presence of God and to become active church members.

Our committee strives to accomplish this mission through the following activities:

COOKIE DELIVERY:  First time visitors receive a dozen cookies on the same day as they visit the church.  We extend a hand of friendship and an invitation to join us again.

ANNUAL ALL CHURCH THANKSGIVING DINNER:  Dinner held the Sunday before Thanksgiving, is a time when everyone finds nurture and fellowship as we sing, pray and dine together.

NAME TAG PROMOTION:  Everyone is encouraged to wear their name tag.  God has called each one of us by name and with name tags we can call one another by name.

GREETERS:  To provide people from the congregation to extend a hand of friendship at the worship services.

ASSIST HOMELESS SHELTER:  Committee members cook and serve a dinner at a homeless shelter, at least once a year.

COMMUNICATIONS SUPPORT:  Communications are supported by such projects as literature racks, bulletin boards and assisting and providing information for the church web site.  The Hospitality Committee is dedicated to the visioning process of the church...
