I am Michele Sorrell and I grew up in the village of Holland Patent in upstate New York. I am the middle child of 7. I have 5 sisters and 1 brother. I grew up going to Sunday School at Stittville United Methodist Church.
I have 3 children; all girls. I have been with FUMC since 2000 when I came on staff as the Director of Child Care. I served in the nursery for 6 years. In 2007 I became the Director of Children's Ministries.
The Family Ministry's goal is to give families the tools they need to support the Christian faith in the home. This will be accomplished by considering the needs of today's families from birth through graduation. A challenge is given to all of our church members to be connected in many ways to our families.
