I discovered my passion for working with children when I was fifteen years old. My sister worked for the Montessori School of Cheyenne and offered my services as a substitute for the summer when the teachers went on vacation. Little did I realize that I would have the call to work in ministry as the Director of Child Care Ministries for FUMC.
I have been working with children for twelve years and have loved every moment I have been able to spend with them!
I started my journey in college to become a music teacher, but after three years realized I wanted to be with young children. In the fall of 2003 I began my journey in Early Childhood Development by applying for Apprenticeship through the Department of Labor. In 2005 I attained my Child Development Associates and received the title of Child Care Development Specialist.
I have always wanted to be able to say that I can openly worship God when working with children and now I have that opportunity! I have been blessed to minister for God through my love of working with children!
